On May 15th I will be the featured artist at Studio Hop in Providence RI. Studio Hop takes part in Gallery Night each month in Providence. Gallery night happens on the evening of the third Thursday each month from April to October. Numerous galleries participate and there is a bus that provides transportation from gallery to gallery. Arts In Reach (AIR) is a nonprofit organization that empowers teenage girls through accessible performance and visual arts education programming. AIR provides free after-school, vacation, and summer programs to teens, ages 13 to 18, in Strafford and Rockingham counties.

I will be there with fellow artists Ellen Granter, Janis Sanders, Emma Ashby, Peter Batchelder and Teresa McCue.

I just learned that my gallery in Florida has brought a bunch of my paintings to their Provincetown location, and they’re featuring me there now. I posted the sketch for this a short time ago with other pages from my sketchbook. Saw this truck parked at a cottage. The license plate was “UNK HANK”, which made me smile and think of my own Uncle Hank.

Meet us in Boston July 24th!!!

John and I just want to let you know that we’re participating in the WGBH Art Auction this summer. The auction is a juried show. In addition to both being chosen to participate, we’re excited to let you know that Caroline is the featured artist this year! This means her painting is being used for the catalog cover and other marketing materials.

As part of the event, WGBH interviewed us both. The television interview will air during the broadcast of the auction on July 30, on Channel 2, sometime between 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Lastly, we hope you can join us for the kick off of the Boston Summer Arts Walk. The event is co-sponsored by WGBH and the auction, and it promises to be a really fun night. We will definitely be there, and hope you will too!
