A) “Between Vessel and Passage” was created specifically for Urbanity by artist John Rufo. The painting is a composition of layers of light and color that depict the relationship between the solids and voids created by the body as it moves through space and time. B) This Urbanity Rehearsal Drawing is one of a series made during rehearsals in a year-long partnership between the artist, Dan Jay, and Urbanity Dance Company. It is a 18” x 24” Japanese brush pen on paper. FMV $600. Starting Bid $195.
C) "287 Water Street 2013" is one of Sam Earle’s mixed media paintings, composed of tediously layered, hand-painted transfers on hollow-core wooden doors. He embellishes some images with tacks that are painted over, and then glazed with acrylic. Earle’s work can be found in many private and public collections, including the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. FMV $7500. Starting Bid $1500.
